More emotional strain More is the skin problem. Any medication of therapy or course of treatment could bring in better results only when the person in question is fully contented with the circumstances of day to day. Or IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO BUILD UP A MENTAL ATTITUDE TO DIGEST ALL GOOD AND BAD EVENTS ALIKE. THANK YOU KRISHNAMURTHI

Chris,

I have read your Acne Free in 3 Days book and completed the Apple Fast three times over the past 1.5 years. I have eliminated all refined and most natural sugars from my diet. I do eat quite a bit of fruit each day, and there are natural sugars in fruit...would this continue to feed the Candida yeast?

I have been able to slowly learn how to control my acne; however I still cannot stop breakouts from occurring. Even though I know better, I gave into my dermatologist's recommendations and tried Bactrim DS for a few months. I told him I had tried antibiotics in the past and they hadn't been effective, but he insisted this was a new one that would work in combination with Retin-A. After a couple months, he retracted his previous statement and started me on a topical antibiotic (Clindamycin-Benzoyl Perox Gel) to use in addition to the Retin-A. It has worked so far, but I would rather not use an over-drying product like benzoyl peroxide.

I have used the Retin-A for a few months, and it seems to be working in reducing breakouts, but I've noticed an increase in small white lumps under the surface of my skin (which are not easily popped...I know, don't pick/squeeze/etc.). My dermatologists said the lumps are comedonal acne, and recommended extraction, which I had performed once, but it took 3-4 days of recovery from a swollen and irritated face. She literally made my face look 10 times worse for a few days, but I guess it's alright for a "professional" to destroy my face ;-)

So far, my current routine has worked well. I have been using the following supplies:

Morning skin care supplies - glycerin-based cleanser, Clindamycin-Benzoyl Perox Gel, tea tree water toner, and Proactiv Green Tea moisturizer.

Evening skin care supplies - glycerin-based cleanser, Retin-A Micro, and Castor oil (when skin is too dry).

A few weeks ago I decided to eliminate dairy from my diet, and my skin seems to be much clearer with only occasional breakouts that I think I can attribute to failure to cleanse my face after sweating and/or from drinking alcoholic beverages (I'm fairly certain that the sugar used in making alcohol is still present during consumption). I don't know if the improvement is caused by the elimination of dairy or the long term benefits of Retin-A. So, I am going to transition back to using the skin peel for deep exfoliation. I have a few questions in regards to this new skin care regime:

1.) Will I be able to continue to use Retin-A or facial masks occasionally while using the skin peel, or will Retin-A be too irritating to the new skin exposed after using the skin peel?
2.) I have read good things in regards to using Australian Gold Jojoba oil to cleanse and moisturize skin...do you agree with this?
3.) Do you recommend using a toner before moisturizer, or is a light mist of water from a spray bottle all I need to help evenly distribute the moisturizer on my skin?
4.) Should I eliminate wheat, rye, gluten, etc. from my diet as well?

I know this is a lot to digest, but I have been working at controlling my acne for over 10 years and I think I might finally be close. :-) I look forward to hearing your response to my concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hello Chris,

Firstly would just like to say thank you for your no more moles, warts and skin tags ebook. Its my first defence at keeping my moles at bay.

I would just like your advice, I use the mixture on my moles everyday, for the first week or 2 it stings when i apply but then dies down after the 3rd week... When do i stop applying this mixture because it can be confusing? I have had mixed results, i just dont know when to stop, none of them scab over they just seem to get smaller and they do not totally disappear... when i stretch my skin i cant see them but when i dont the blemish is still there, any advice on speeding up the healing process???

Kind regards,
Sam

I lived with acne for over three decades of my life and discovered the answer for me was using antibacterial liquid soap for cleansing followed by the use of witch hazel as an astringent. It worked! I have not had an acne problem at ALL since having begun that regular regimen for facial care - have a great day!

Wow!Great comments and questions. When it comes to acne the 2 main areas to look are your diet ( the foods you eat) and your skin care products. here is why, foods high in sugar, yeast, gluten, and chemicals such as pesticides can be a very big contributing factor. When looking at skin care products, especially those labeled for acne stay away from dry and irritating chemicals such as benzyl peroxide and salycilic acid ( main ingreds in 99% of acne products like Proactiv) and switch to naturally based products like your face wash ( it should be olive oil or glycerin based) - I use GINALE myself and you can make these changes easily. The last thing to be aware of is that you need to exfoliate deeply and this goes for everyone and every skin type. I use a natural based skin peel for this. Keep the questions and comments coming! Chris

Hi Chris,

I have observed about my skin that it gets darken and become dull during the winter season. I have started using castor oil and mixing termeric powder in it to massage my face to help me protect from dryness during the winter season. I am also planning to use the same for my kid. Could you please let me know if this is the correct skin care for my kid and for myself during winter season?.

Hi,

The best ting you can do that is low cost would be to use a good alpha hydroxy fruit acid based cream to help the skin exfoliate and even the skin tone. Outside of that to eleminate acne scarring you would need to do some deep exfolaition like a peel. You might want to save back some money over time to purchase a good peel in time. I did this my slef back in the day.

In the mean time try to find a moisturizer to start the faster exfoliation process.

~Chris~

Chris Gibson said...

On the question about accutane...I would wait about 30 -45 days after using the drug to consider the peels and products. You will need to give your body and your skin a chance to normalize and then you shoudl be able to get great results ~Chris~
