Chocolate, Is It Good Or Bad For You And Your Skin?

As usual this weekend I spent a good deal of time working with clients and answering questions. It is one of the things I love to do and it is a way for me to feel connected to you even if it is over the Internet. :-)

This weekend there were some really good questions and some feedback on things as well. Many of you wonder about the effectiveness of the Ginale Skin Peel I often recommend, so I've included a client feedback in this post from someone who just started using it.

One of the questions was about chocolate and its impact on health and skin. This struck a personal nerve with me as my first dermatologist told me chocolate was contributing to my acne, so I didn't eat it for years until I learned how good it was for you.

Imagine being 13 years old and told you can never have something you love to eat again. Fortunately, this is one of the big acne myths I got to bust on national television, very satisfying for me to do that... and hopefully satisfying for you now as well.

Here is how I answered this very well thought out question on my Facebook fan page:

So, when looking at foods and their effects on your skin, think about all the ingredients (like sugar content) before exiling them from your diet.

Chocolate is good for your blood vessels and this is good for your skin, since healthy blood vessels carry oxygen and nutrients your skin needs to maintain itself. It a shame so many people with skin problems shun it because of this myth.

Does The Ginale Skin Peel Work?

I have also received a lot of questions from people trying to find out if the Ginale Skin Peel will really work as well and fast as Ginale claims it can (in as few as 7 days).

Rather than answer those questions myself, I thought I'd share a new client's post from my fan page with you:

I believe that speaks for itself, but here is my answer. Not only can the Ginale Skin Peel provide visible and measurable results in as few as 7 days, but it can provide even better results with continued use over time.

It's the reason why I use it and recommend it to all of my clients. Speaking of Ginale, I just found out the other day that they lowered the pricing on their products significantly. Follow through to the next link to watch a video that explains further how these products can help you.

Again, thank you for reading my blog. I hope you find it useful and I welcome your comments, questions, and feedback.

Wishing you a healthy and joyous day,

Dark chocolate is excellent for the cholesterol levels, blood pressure and the low sugar content makes it ideal in small portions for most everyone. Once I dealt with my acne through the use of antibacterial liquid cleanser followed by witch hazel as an astringent, I was able to enjoy my healthy dark chocolate without break-outs.
