I hope you have enjoyed getting the various reviews on the skin care product lines over the last week. The truth is that for most products the ingredient list is pretty much the same with very little variation.
Even when a product brand claims to have "natural ingredients" in it. There are just so many fillers and expanders that are not really necessary for good skin care.
Then of course there are the chemical ingredients that can contribute to skin issues or make skin problems like dryness and acne worse.
So today, I am going to give you my list of tips for buying products for skin issues and just general skin care and health.
Tip 1: Always read the labels of any product to make sure you know what is in it. Generally the LESS number of ingredients the better the product is health wise.
Tip 2: Make sure whatever you choose does not contain mineral oil, petroleum, lanolin, or any ingredients that end in "sulfide" or "sulfite". These ingredients are harsh to even the healthiest skin.
Plus, if you suffer from any type of skin problem such as breakouts, rosacea, or eczema, use of these ingredients are not recommended.
Tip 3: Choose more natural ingredients in your products such a glycerin, olive oil, castor oil, and AHA's (natural alpha hydroxyl acids from fruits) for better moisturizing and exfoliation.
Tip 4: Always stop using any product that is not agreeing with your skin. The problem almost always is with the product and not you.
