Skin Mole Safety Check... Are You Sure You're Ok?

I know I spend a great deal of time on skin care issues centered around acne and anti-aging. One of the areas I help many clients with has to do with other skin issues that affect millions of people.

Moles, skin tags, and warts (especially in children) get a lot of my attention as well. This is why I wrote a book on the subject called "No More Moles, Warts, or Skin Tags".

Being a naturalist this book is about natural methods for identifying and safely removing these skin annoyances.

Warts are caused by contagious viruses and should always be removed. Moles, are natural occurrences in the skin cells, but can become cancerous in some instances.

Since this is the time of year I focus on educating people on the proper use of sunscreen, it's good to learn how to identify any of these problems so you can make an educated decision about what to do to remove them.

Today, I would like to focus on moles because they have the most potential to create long-term health problems. Below you find a link leading to the Lance Armstrong Foundation website.

There they have posted an article written by Bonnie Vanaman, which provides a series of steps you can take to properly check the moles on your skin for any abnormalities.

Following these simple steps can keep you informed about your skin's health and you will catch anything you need to early. My medical doctor does a check yearly for me as well.

I caught my own pre-cancerous mole early with this process and I was able to remove it through natural means, like the ones I discuss in my book. I will share more of that story at a later time.

Wishing you a healthy and joyous day,
